just playing with this linux distribution called Garuda recently. KDE did a fantastic job in this Plasma GUI, moving the shell is like jello. A ton of configurations went on under the covers in getting it to look this Kool !
It does use the pacman package manager to update software packages, yet there is a wrapper tool to install and update tools. The Fish shell is quite intelligent as well.
