Building upon a local WordPress and or Media Wiki instance isnt all that difficult, it is the difficulties of installing the right tools to work with each of these Web based PHP applications. I used Apache 2.4.x + MariaDB + PHP 8.2.x. There are a ton of themes available for all wordpress instances along with various plugins.
